How EAPC Assesses
Candidates.
EAPC assessments are independently administered, designed against written Certification Schemes, and reviewed by the Certification Board before any result is confirmed.

Every EAPC assessment is designed to measure what it claims to measure. Assessment instruments are reviewed before deployment for alignment with the relevant Certification Scheme, bias, and construct validity.

Certification Scheme Alignment
Every assessment is built against the domain Certification Scheme, the written document that defines the competencies being assessed, the assessment format, and the pass standard. No assessment is deployed without Board-approved scheme alignment.

Independent Administration
EAPC administers the assessment independently. Each candidate receives a unique, secure assessment link. The programme organiser has no involvement in the administration or results process. This independence is what gives the credential its credibility.

Results Recorded Before Determination
All candidate responses are recorded and stored independently before any pass/fail determination is made. Results are reviewed against the pass standard defined in the Certification Scheme, not against cohort averages or relative performance.

Certification Board Review
The EAPC Certification Board reviews assessment results and confirms all pass/fail determinations before any certificate is issued. No candidate is certified without Board sign-off. This review is documented and traceable.

Certificate Issuance and Registration
Successful candidates receive their certificate and LinkedIn badge within 5 business days of the assessment window closing. Every certificate is registered in EAPC's public verification database at the point of issuance with a unique certificate number.

Online Delivery
Assessments are delivered online via a secure, candidate-specific link. Candidates complete the assessment within a defined window, no special software required.

Structured Format
Assessments use structured question formats aligned to each domain's Certification Scheme. The format is disclosed to candidates and programme organisers before the assessment window opens.

Competency-Based Pass Standard
Pass standards are set against the competencies defined in the Certification Scheme, not against cohort performance. A candidate either meets the standard or does not, results are not curved or scaled.
Appeals
If a Candidate Wishes to Appeal.
EAPC maintains a formal appeals process for candidates who wish to challenge a certification result. Appeals are reviewed independently by Certification Board members who were not involved in the original determination. The appeals process is documented and traceable.
